The government has disciplined sixteen policeman and their commanding officer after they surrendered their weapons to rebels without a fight last week. Meanwhile, 380 kilometers west of the capital, rebels bombed, and then 300 of then assaulted, a police station, killing 29 policemen, 16 rebels and two civilians. The police garrison was 72 men.
