 Large anti-king rallies continue to occur in the capital, where most of the middle class lives. The police allow the rallies to proceed, arrest a few dozen people and leave it at that. The king continues to take more control over mass media, including electronic media. 

Britain has resumed "non-lethal" aid to Nepal, sending scout helicopters, 40  Land Rovers and some  Explosive Ordnance Disposal equipment and vehicles.
