China has delivered five armored personnel carriers to the army, and other military supplies as well. The army's major ammunition suppliers cut off deliveries when the king took over the government, and have not resumed shipments. The army is running out of ammo, and the Maoists are depending on foreign pressure groups to keep it that way. The Maoists continue to smuggle in ammunition and weapons, and are not subject to any international embargoes.
