The MILF (the main Moslem separatist organization) has gotten its dissident groups to calm down, and provided the government with leads to where some of the active Abu Sayyaf (and other terrorist groups) are operating. This has led to more active patrols and raids against the terrorist organizations, and a reduction in terrorist attacks. But there are still terrorist groups out there planning attacks. The MILF is still negotiating a peace deal with the government.
