A previously unknown Chechen rebel group claimed responsibility for the Moscow subway bombing in January that killed 41 people. The claim came from a group calling itself Gazoton Murdash, led by Lom-Ali (``Ali the Lion'') Chechensky. They launched the attack to mark the fourth anniversary of the killing of scores of Grozny civilians by Russian soldiers who too the Chechen capital. - Adam Geibel
