  The 40 day morning period ended in North Ossetia, and there were calls for revenge against the Islamic terrorists who killed 340 Christian children and adults in Beslan. Many North Ossetians blame Moslems from neighboring Ingushetia for providing some of the manpower, and much of the information needed, to carry out the attack. Most of the Caucasus is Moslem, the exceptions being Armenia, Georgia, North Ossetia, and minorities in places like Chechnya.
