A Khartoum government source says that nomads from Blue Nile state have attacked the SPLA camp near Bangela (Upper Nile State). The Khartoum spokesman said that the SPLA had attacked the nomads the day before. A more likely explanation: Nomads in the pay of Khartoum launched the assault in conjunction with Sudan government army and paramilitary operations.
