The Ugandan Army said its forces have overrun four LRA camps inside Sudan. A major LRA base camp near the village of Lara, was taken by Ugandan troops on March 28. On March 29, three more LRA camps (all south of the Sudanese town of Juba, a major refugee center) were overrun in a series of Ugandan assaults. These camps were identified as Bin-Rwot, Orek, and Lubang-Tek.
