November 13, 2007: The raiding
in eastern Chad has died down since the peace deal was signed. Most of the
armed groups appear to be waiting to see what will happen when the European
peacekeepers arrive in the next month or so. The rebel and bandit groups will
push the peacekeepers, to see what mischief can still be done.
