The LTTE continues to attack towards Jaffna city, but the tempo of fighting has apparently decreased. This could simply mean that the LTTE is getting ready for a final assault on the city. The LTTE is, as usual, outnumbered. Although the army has over 40,000 troops in the Jaffna area, the LTTE have less than 10,000.
