mso-bidi-language: AR-SA"> Fighting continued in the north, with six rebels killed. Meanwhile, several generals were severely criticized for the September 5th offensive that resulted in nearly a thousand government casualties. The attack had depended on mass artillery fire and warplanes to destroy most rebel weapons. But it didn't work and army troops moved into massed rifle and machine-gun fire.
