A U.S. Air Force C-130P aircraft lands on a dry lake bed during a search and rescue exercise on Grand Bara, Djibouti, April 23, 2009. The air crew is assigned to the 81st Rescue Squadron. The exercise consisted of transporting pararescuemen to a water jump, aerial refueling of a CH-53E helicopter, an assault landing on an unimproved runway, and transloading a simulated survivor from the CH-53E.
