Smoke erupts as U.S. Marines fire a M777 howitzer near Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Sept. 1, 2009. The Marines are assigned to Sierra Battery, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit.
