A lighter amphibious re-supply cargo vehicle, assigned to Beach Master Unit 1, stands by on Salinas Beach, Peru, for a beach landing exercise. BMU-1 is part of Amphibious Squadron 5 embarked aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans.
