ARTA BEACH, Djibouti - U.S. Marines with Tank Platoon, Battalion Landing Team 1st Bn., 4th Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, drive an M1A1 Main Battle Tank to a forward operating base during Exercise Alligator Dagger, Dec. 9. The principal battle tank of the Marine Corps, the M1A1 provides armor-protected firepower in support of Marine ground forces.
