Military Photo: Barling Bomber

The Wittemann-Lewis NBL-1 "Barling Bomber" was a 1920s experimental strategic bomber. Known as "Mitchell's Folly" it was considered a failure at the time. It did, however, influence the design of future bombers according to General "Hap" Arnold.
