A MK 36 super rapid blooming off board countermeasures chaff and decoy is launched from the guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Champlain during a test of the ship's anti-missile defense system. Lake Champlain is part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and is returning to homeport in San Diego from a seven-month deployment supporting global maritime security.
