Military Photo: DESRON 15 Exercises with Japanese

PACIFIC OCEAN (April 18, 2010) Ships from Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15 and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) Escort Flotilla One are underway in formation during a passing exercise. Ships participating in the exercise included the U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62), USS McCampbell (DDG 85) and USS Stethem (DDG 63) and the JMSDF destroyers JDS Akebono (DD 108), JDS Shimakaze (DDG 172) and JDS Suzunami (DD 114).
