Jacob Gunter of Centerville, Iowa, an unmanned aircraft systems repairer with Company D, 224th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, Iowa Army National Guard (IANG), conducts a post-flight inspection on an RQ-7B Shadow Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System during an eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) rotation at Camp Ripley, Minn., on July 21, 2019. XCTC provides an experience similar to a combat training center to National Guard Soldiers at home station or at a regional training center, minimizing cost and time away from home and jobs.
