INDIAN OCEAN (Nov. 3, 2020) The Indian navy Rajput-class guided-missile destroyer INS Ranvijay (D 55) sails alongside the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) while conducting replenishment-at-sea approaches (RASAPs) as part of exercise Malabar 2020. Malabar is an India-led multinational exercise designed to enhance cooperation between the Indian Navy, Royal Australian Navy, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and U.S. maritime forces. Australian, Indian, Japanese and American maritime forces routinely operate together in the Indo-Pacific, fostering a cooperative approach toward regional security and stability.
