Lockheed Martin has received the formal contract to build 50 new F-16s for Israel. The aircraft will be delivered from 2003-2006. The contract includes an option for another 60 planes, which would bring the contract to $4.5 billion and extend deliveries to 2009. --Stephen V Cole
