The Israeli cabinet agreed to leave South Lebanon by the Summer. Israel has concluded that the human and fiscal cost of remaining was too high. Israeli aircraft attacked Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon after Hezbollah attacked an Israeli position in South Lebanon the day before and wounded an Israeli soldier.
