Terrorists shot and wounded three Israeli civilians on the West Bank. A subsequent roadblock erected to catch the terrorists resulted in a Palestinian woman killed and another injured when police fired on their car as it backed away from the roadblock. The Palestinian couple apparently panicked. In Lebanon, three civilians were hurt by what was apparently a submunition from an earlier Israeli artillery bombardment.
