Israel has said it will not allow the 2,300 troops of the South Lebanon Army and their 7,000 dependents to enter Israel as refugees after (or during) a unilateral Israeli withdrawal. Israel said that these people must be allowed to remain in Lebanon without persecution.--Stephen V Cole
