Israel reports that the Syrian Air Force had deteriorated to the point that the Damascus government cannot rely on it for any significant missions. The few dozen MiG-29s are the only working aircraft; the older types are all but impossible to maintain. Syrian efforts to send more recon flights over Lebanon have failed as there are not enough working aircraft.--Stephen V Cole
