Israel sealed off the West Bank from Israel. This is often done during the Jewish holy days. Meanwhile, violence continued in the three principal hot spots; Joseph's Tomb (inside Palestinian territory) and key crossroads in the West Bank (20 kilometers north of Jerusalem) and Gaza (near a Jewish settlement). Over seventy have died so far. Another ceasefire came into effect, but the violence did not slow down much.
