The war between Israel and the Palestinians is changing shape. Today, two members of Palestinian terrorists organizations were killed in action, one while planting a bomb. Arab nations are rapidly imposing an informal embargo on Israel. For example, telephone operators are refusing to put through long distance calls from Israel to Arab nations. Meanwhile, Israel is building more housing for Jewish settlers in Palestinian territory. So far this year, over 13,000 new settlers have moved into Palestinian areas. The Palestinians are using more terrorist attacks, especially bombs in Jewish areas, and ambushes and sniping by Palestinian gunmen. This tactic causes complications because the gunmen often fire from Palestinian villages, which sometimes results in Israeli retaliation destroying the village. But this is excellent propaganda and plays well in the world media.
