The violence continues, with the death toll at 419 (344 Palestinians, 64 Israelis, 13 Israeli Arabs and one German) in five months. Several thousand have been injured, mostly Palestinian. The head of the Israeli Settlers organization has called for the assassination of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.
