Palestinian terrorism has been having an effect on the Israeli settlements in Palestinian territories. While most of the settlers continue to be defiant, several hundred settlers have left. So some settlements are offering free housing for any Israelis that will move in. On the Lebanese  border, Israeli tanks, covered by two helicopter gunships, fired into Lebanon.
