The Palestinian government convinced terrorists to stop their attacks on Jewish settlements in Gaza. Even through Israel is going to remove these settlers, and get completely out of Gaza in the next few months, the terrorist organizations are having a difficult time restraining all their members. Israeli troops kill terrorists they catch making these attacks, and this causes the terrorists to demand revenge attacks. Officially, the terrorists are only willing to stop attacking for a short period. Long term, Palestinian terrorists still insist that they will eventually destroy Israel.
