  Violence has begun to flare up in the south. Some 30 were reported dead in the southern city of Aba, as Christians went after local Moslems.  In the northern city of Kaduna, police and troops have arrested some 300 people in an effort to stop the violence that has killed 400 people so far as Moslem mobs attacked local Christians. The legislature in northern Zamfara state has revoked the appointment of 40 Sharia law judges. In the northern city of Kachia, some 65 died in religious violence.
