Over 15,000 people have fled their homes because of the ammunition dump explosion in the capital. The death toll is over a thousand. There is great public anger at the government for the way the ammo dump was mismanaged. Meanwhile, police have arrested other police officers thought to be ringleaders of a strike many police say they will start on February 1st. The police are upset over not getting paid on time and poor promotion opportunities.
