A few Islamic radicals continued to fought police in northeastern Nigeria, and at least seven more radicals were killed. Another 47 radicals were arrested over the past few days. Apparently some 200 armed Islamic radicals, trying to bring a little Taliban type activity to Africa, were involved. Over 10,000 civilians fled the fighting between the radicals and police.
