Around 12,000 civilians have fled their homes in Burundi's western province, following the latest fighting between the army and FNL fighters. 
Meanwhile, bicycle taxis have been banned in the capital. The mayor feared that the popular mode of transportation used by many poor people in Burundi could also be used by rebels to infiltrate his city. - Adam Geibel
