Despite Liberian claims that they have expelled him, former RUF deputy commander Sam Bockaire is apparently still in Liberia. The government is trying the legal approach to get Bockaire extradited and tried for war crimes. Liberia is trying to distance itself from the chaos that is still raging just across its border in Sierra Leone.
