Preparations for resuming the war continue. The LTTE is increasingly uncertain of their prospects if the fighting resumes. Tamils have endured over a decade of fighting, with nothing to show for it, except death and economic loss. The LTTE fears that a new war might see their organization fall apart. But there is also a chance that a resumption of the war will unify the Tamils, and bring back more of the hard fighting that was so common in the last decade.
