The Popular Defense Forces (a pro-Khartoum militia force that operates as an adjunct of the Sudanese Army) issued a press statement calling for the Sudanese people to join a holy war against Israel. The PDF statement said it would open its training bases to holy warriors who would go to fight for Palestine against Israel.
