China has leaned on Spain to not allow submarines for Taiwan to be built in Spanish shipyards. China said Spain agreed to forbid any such deal, Spain says it has not made up its mind yet. Apparently Spain is waiting for China to offer some trade incentive to justify stopping the sub building deal.
