Ten FARC rebels were killed outside the capital. The rebels were found carrying 165 pounds of explosives, and other equipment for bomb making. Meanwhile, more foreigners are being kidnapped (over 231 in the last five years), with FARC leading this trend. FARC and ELN account for 69 percent of all kidnappings.
