EN-US;mso-bidi-language: AR-SA"> FARC and ELN rebels joined forces to fight army troops in the northwest. The rebels were resisting army units moving rebel controlled territory. Six soldiers and several dozen rebels have died so far. In the southwest, FARC used a car bomb to destroy a bridge used to enter their neutral zone. In several other raids, FARC rebels destroyed buses and trucks.
