The FARC bombing tactic is a new approach to terror for FARC. Having learned bomb building and placement techniques from the Irish Republican Army (in exchange for supplies of cocaine, as the IRA also supports itself with drug trade connections), FARC is trying to terrorize its way to power. But this is just making FARC more unpopular.
