Colombia: April 21, 2003


 Weekend violence left 22 rebels and two soldiers dead. At least fifteen civilians were kidnapped by FARC as well. Two of the dead rebels were from a 3,500 man faction of the AUC. While the AUC is negotiating a peace deal with the government, this particular faction is not in complete agreement with that policy.
