 Soldiers closing in on a FARC camps found that the camp held 13 kidnapping victims. But before the rebels fled, they killed ten of their 13 hostages. This is standard practice for the rebels, who would rather see their captives killed than rescued. The dead included a provincial governor, a peace negotiator and eight soldiers.
