Northern Alliance commanders are complaining about US reluctance to bomb Taliban forces in the north. The Northern Alliance know this is being done because of Pakistani protests. The Northern Alliance hates Pakistan, blaming it for long time interference in Afghan affairs and sees the current situation as a continuation of that meddling. Ashaq Al-Awsat (an Arabic newspaper based in Pakistan) reports that Osama bin Laden is offering $50,000 reward for anyone who will kill a US soldier. Also offered is  $3000 for a US military uniform "or any part of a US weapon" and $1500 for "bringing in an American gun"
