Pakistan has denied that any of it's aircraft flew into Kunduz and took away Taliban troops there. Residents of Kunduz say they heard five different aircraft land and take off with Taliban troops. Indian newspapers say the aircraft were removing Pakistani troops operating with the Taliban. The Pakistani military has long had close relations with the Taliban. The US says American controls the air over Afghanistan and that no aircraft could fly there without US forces knowing about it. The US says there were no flights out of Kunduz. Interrogations of captured Taliban troops who were in Kunduz may shed more light on this story. Meanwhile, Pakistan is about to become the big loser of the war in Afghanistan. The Afghans have always disliked Pakistan for its support of the Taliban. And now pro-Taliban Pakistani Pushtuns and Islamic radicals in Pakistan blame Pakistan for the Taliban defeat. In Kashmir, several attacks left six rebels and five soldiers dead.
