In northeastern India, tribal rebels (ATTF, All Tripura Tiger Force) attacked two villages and killed 21 Bengalis (non-tribal) migrants. 

In Kashmir, rebel violence left 14 dead. In the last six months, there have been 487 rebel attacks in Kashmir, leaving 570 rebels and 72 soldiers dead. 

Indian and Pakistani artillery exchanged fire along the Line of Control in Kashmir, leaving six Pakistani civilians dead. So far this year, Pakistan has suffered 37 dead and some 120 wounded from the shelling.
