India insists that Pakistan is still tolerating terrorist training camps in their part of Kashmir and that some 3,000 men are operating in these camps. India reported that between May and June, there were 1,116 terrorist incidents in Kashmir, compared to 681 in the same period last year. Pakistan says it has cracked down on the camps, but the Indians are still killing armed men trying to cross the border and capturing terrorists who admit they were trained in Pakistani Kashmir.

In Kashmir, rebel violence left eleven dead.
