India-Pakistan: September 12, 2004


Pakistani troops killed six hostile tribesmen in South Waziristan, along the Afghan border. In Lahore, Pakistan, a radical Sunni Islamic cleric, Maulana Ibrahim Salfi, was murdered by unknown men. Salfi had been active in supporting terrorism in Kashmir, and one of his sons had died their while engaged in terrorist activities.
