India-Pakistan: December 9, 2004


 Pakistan has arrested 600 al Qaeda members in the last three years, and believes it has crippled the organization. The number of al Qaeda attacks is way down versus the last two years, and the Pakistani police are getting more tips, indicating that the al Qaeda still out there are not strong enough to terrorize people into remaining silent, or not rich enough to buy silence. Pakistanis are also mad at al Qaeda for killing so many Pakistanis in some of their attacks.
