India-Pakistan: Earthquakes as Peace Makers

Archives

October 14, 2005: Several Islamic terrorist training camps in
Pakistani Kashmir were destroyed by the recent earthquakes. Perhaps as many as
half camps are now out of action. This will reduce the number of terrorists
available to send over into India Kashmir. The Pakistani has been trying to shut
down the Kashmir terrorist training camps, but have been opposed by wide popular
support of the anti-Indian terrorism in Indian Kashmir. Now the earthquake has
done what the Pakistani government could not do. It will be easier to prevent
the camps from being rebuilt, and the reduced terrorist activity in Indian
Kashmir, will make it easier to negotiate a peace deal with India.
